NEET-UG 2022 counselling from Oct 11: Full details inside

The MCC also announced that the last date of joining for those taking seats in the first round counselling in All India Quota and State quota will be October 28 and November 4 respectively.

CHENNAI: The Medical Counselling Committee on Tuesday announced that counselling for MBBS/BDS and BSc nursing seats for All India quota will commence from October 11 and end on October 20. The counselling for the State quota seats is likely to be held between October 17 and October 28.

The MCC also announced that the last date of joining for those taking seats in the first round counselling in All India Quota and State quota will be October 28 and November 4 respectively.

The counselling will happen in 4 rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Mop up round and stray vacancy.

The second round of counselling for All India Quota will be held from November 2 to November and for State quota from November 7 -November 18.

The Mop Up round counselling will begin on November 23 for All India Quota and from December 6 for State quota.

The commencement of academic courses will begin from November 15, according to the schedule.

In Tamil Nadu, the selection committee, Directorate of Medical Education is likely to make an announcement soon on the release of the rank list and counselling schedule.

Earlier a notification regarding by the MCC directed NEET qualified candidates, who have registered themselves under the differently-abled persons quota on the National Testing Agency website, to get their disability certificate.
