United Way Chennai has created the campaign, #UnitedForStreetVendors to help street vendors who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike a traditional marathon, this virtual event allows you to stay active however you want, wherever you are and still help a family in need. Whether you want to take a brisk early morning walk around the neighbourhood, run on the treadmill, or cycle on the main road, all you need to do is pledge a distance and cover it. You can track your progress daily using any fitness app of your choice and submit your details via email. For more details, visit United Way Chennai’s Facebook page.
