CHENNAI: DMK councillors turned up at the Greater Chennai Corporation’s council meeting in black attire on Thursday to protest the non-allotment of ward development funds for the past four months, with councillors across party lines joining the opposition and warning that the delay could hamper crucial monsoon preparedness and storm water drain (SWD) works.
