Two killed in head-on collision on OMR

Two persons, including a 65-year-old woman from Kerala and the driver of the car in which she was travelling with her husband, were killed after the vehicle collided head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction on the OMR near Tiruporur on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Santha of Kerala and driver Kannan from Pudukkottai. Santha’s husband Rajasekhar sustained injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Kelambakkam. The police said that the car in which Santha was travelling was hit by the car which reportedly lost control and jumped over the median.
