Two killed in different road accidents

Two men were killed in two road accidents in the city on Thursday night and Friday morning. In the first incident, Kazith Sharma (47), a daily wage worker from Madhya Pradesh, died after he was hit by a two-wheeler when he tried to cross Kamarajar Salai on Friday.

Sharma died a few hours later. The police arrested one Sundar, who was riding the bike.

In the second incident, Christopher (25), an electrician and a resident of Washermenpet, died after the two-wheeler on which he was travelling was knocked down by a water tanker at New Washermenpet. The driver of the lorry fled the spot.
