Trio held for flesh trade, 4 women rescued

Mambalam police arrested three men for running a flesh trade at a service apartment and rescued four women from their custody.

CHENNAI: Based on a tip-off, police raided the apartment at Baghavandham Street in T Nagar and found that the victims were held captive and forced into the flesh trade. Three men who rented the service apartment were secured and identified as Salman, Rajesh and Rahul. Inquiries revealed that the trio brought the victims from different parts of the city and also from other states for the flesh trade. The accused were remanded in judicial custody and the rescued women were sent to a government rehabilitation home.
