Traffic diversions during peak hours at Pantheon Road-Aditanar Statue junction

Accordingly, Rukmani Lakshmipathi Salai will become one-way from Pantheon roundabout to Montieth Road junction. Vehicles from Ethiraj Salai junction towards Rukmani Lakshmipathi Salai will be diverted at Montieth Road junction (left turn) towards Pantheon Road to reach the roundabout.

CHENNAI: To regulate the free flow of traffic around Pantheon Road- Aditanar Statue junction, Egmore, which is a five-road junction and comprises two roundabouts, Greater Chennai Traffic Police (GCTP) has proposed temporary modifications from Friday (January 9) but only during peak hours (8.30 am to 11 am and 5-pm).

Accordingly, Rukmani Lakshmipathi Salai will become one-way from Pantheon roundabout to Montieth Road junction. Vehicles from Ethiraj Salai junction towards Rukmani Lakshmipathi Salai will be diverted at Montieth Road junction (left turn) towards Pantheon Road to reach the roundabout.

Vehicles from Montieth Road and Montieth Lane will not be allowed to take a left turn in Rukmani Lakshmipathi Salai. Motorists are requested to cooperate.
