CHENNAI: In connection with the ongoing Metro Rail work at Luz Church road, Alwarpet, traffic police has proposed to make the following traffic changes in and around Alwarpet on a trial basis for a week from Saturday.
Vehicles from Luz junction through Luz Church Road intending to go to Alwarpet signal are restricted. MTC buses will be diverted at Amirtanjan Junction, Royapettah High road, Dr. RK Salai, Music Academy Bridge Service Road, TTK Road bridge service road and LMVs to ply through De Silva road and Desika Road to reach Alwarpet Signal.
There will be no change in the vehicle movements on Musiri Subramaniam Street (Oliver Road).
