TN logs 4,328 new corona cases taking the total to 1,42,798

The number of COVID-19 cases in the state shot past the 4,000 mark again with 4,328 fresh infections being reported, taking the tally to 1,42,798, the health department said.

Tamil Nadu had reported 4,343 cases on July 2, 4,329 on July 3, 4,280 on July 4 and 4,244 on July 12.

The bulletin said the number of recoveries continued to remain significant.

The state capital Chennai continues to lead the Covid-19 infection chart with 1,140 persons testing positive for the virus while the cumulative infected toll from other districts stood 3,188.
