Theft at actor Parvathi Nair's house in Chennai

Based on a complaint, a police team had visited the house of the actor and conducted preliminary enquiry.

CHENNAI: Two watches valued over Rs 10 lakh, a laptop worth Rs 1 lakh and two mobile phones were reportedly stolen from the house of actor Parvathi Nair in Chennai.

According to a complaint filed at the Nungambakkam police station, it was said that a person working in the house of the actor could have stolen the valuables as he was also missing from the house on Sterling Road. The suspect, Subash Chandra Bose (30), is from Pudukottai.

Parvathi Nair has acted in movies like 'Yennai Arindhaal' and 'Nimir'.

The list of items stolen are: Watches worth Rs 9 lakh, phone worth Rs 1.3 lakh and laptop worth Rs 2 lakh.
