Tambaram–Villupuram passenger train partially cancelled on these days

According to a press release, maintenance work will be carried out between Mayilam and Tindivanam on the Chennai Egmore–Villupuram section from 12.15 pm to 4.15 pm (four hours) on the above-mentioned dates.

CHENNAI: The Southern Railway has announced partial cancellation of passenger train services between Tambaram and Villupuram on February 24, 26 and 28 due to maintenance works.

According to a press release, maintenance work will be carried out between Mayilam and Tindivanam on the Chennai Egmore–Villupuram section from 12.15 pm to 4.15 pm (four hours) on the above-mentioned dates. Owing to this, changes have been made in train services.

Details of changes:

The passenger train (66045) departing from Tambaram at 9.40 am for Villupuram on February 24, 26 and 28 will be partially cancelled between Tindivanam and Villupuram.

The passenger train (66046) departing from Villupuram at 1.30 pm for Chennai Beach on the same dates will be partially cancelled between Villupuram and Tindivanam.
