CHENNAI: In order to manage the post-Deepavali travel rush, additional EMU trains will run on November 4 (Monday) on Kattankulathur - Tambaram route.

As passengers will be returning by buses from their hometowns after the festival and long weekend, the Kilambakkam bus terminus is likely to be crowded, hence this arrangement has been made.

The services will include a five-minute halt at Potheri Railway Station, said a Southern Railway statement. There will be five passenger specials from Kattankulathur.

The first train will depart from Kattankulathur railway station at 4 am on Monday. After that, it has been said that the trains will depart at 4:30, 5:00, 5:45 and 6:20 am, as per a Daily Thanthi report.
