CHENNAI: In order to clear extra rush expected in the MRTS section on Jan 17 for Pongal, 6 EMU passenger specials will be operated between Velachery – Chennai Beach – Velachery.

The passenger specials from Chennai Beach to Velachery will be operated at 2.50 pm, 4.55 pm and 6.50 pm.

The specials from Velachery to Chennai Beach will be operated at 1.30 pm, 4 pm and 5:45 pm, said a communique issued by Southern Railway.
