Snatcher thrashed by public

A snatcher was secured by the public near Poonamallee bus depot on Monday. He was identified as Arjun of Koyambedu and two phones and a bike were seized from him.

Arjun, along with his friend, tried to snatch a mobile phone from one Vijayakumar. Passers-by, who noticed them, surrounded them and started attacking the duo. However, one of them managed to escape and Arjun was handed over to the Poonamallee police.
