Six held for burgling transperson’s house

Tirumullaivoyal police arrested six persons for burgling a transgender’s house. Gopi alias Gopika (28) of Thendral Nagar in Tirumullaivoyal, who went to Tirupati on October 7, found her rented house broken open and valuables burgled upon her return on Tuesday morning.

Based on her complaint, Tirumullaivoyal police registered a case and arrested six suspects. They were identified as E Jason (24), Dinesh (20), Ganesh (20), Raghu (23), Ashok (22) and Dileep (21) of Tirumullaivoyal and a pair of gold earrings and 1/2 kg silver articles were seized. Investigation revealed the six men entered the house in search of ganja and escaped with valuables. They were remanded.
