The police said that a first information report (FIR) was registered against Annadurai (32) of Kilpauk Garden. They added that he was interrogated based on a complaint filed by a 28-year-old woman.

The police added that the victim approached him for treatment as she was childless even after three years of marriage. She knew the doctor from when he treated her husband for jaundice six months ago.

Annadurai, who recently called the couple, allegedly told them that he has got some special medicine and asked the woman to visit him for the treatment on Wednesday. However, he allegedly misbehaved with her on the pretext of treatment. Further investigation is on.
