Metro Water to be suspended for 12 hours at Teynampet zone on May 13

A press release from CMWSSB said, “As the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is carrying out interconnection works at the mainline on Ramakrishna Mutt Road, near the Mandaveli Bus Terminus, it has resulted in the suspension in the operations of pumping stations.”

CHENNAI: The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewage Board (CMWSSB) will temporarily suspend the operation of three sewage pumping stations for 12 hours in Teynampet zone on May 13 from 10 am.

A press release from CMWSSB said, “As the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is carrying out interconnection works at the mainline on Ramakrishna Mutt Road, near the Mandaveli Bus Terminus, it has resulted in the suspension in the operations of pumping stations.”

The 12-hour suspension will start today at 10 am. During this period, the sewage pumping stations on South Boag Road, Chamiers Road and Mandaveli station in Teynampet zone will be suspended, said the press release.

Residents in the affected areas are Alwarpet, Nandanam, Abhiramapuram, RA Puram, Mylapore, Mandaveli and Santhome. They can contact Teynampet zone officials for any sewage-related grievances or assistance at 8144930909 and 8144930225.
