Several trains to originate from Beach due to redevelopment works at Egmore

Several EMUs and MEMUs would also be cancelled and timings will be revised in the Chennai division, stated the press release.

CHENNAI: Southern Railway has announced the continuation of origination/ termination of several express trains from Chennai Beach due to ongoing redevelopment works at Chennai Egmore railway station from February 3 to April 5.

Several EMUs and MEMUs would also be cancelled and timings will be revised in the Chennai division, stated the press release.

Train No 22158 Chennai Egmore–Mumbai CSMT Superfast Express will originate from Chennai Beach from February 4 to April 4. The scheduled departure time from Chennai Beach is 6.45 am. Train No 12759 Chennai Egmore–Hyderabad Charminar Superfast Express will originate from Chennai Beach from February 4 to April 5. The scheduled departure time from Chennai Beach is 6.20 pm.

Train No 12760 Hyderabad–Chennai Egmore Charminar Superfast Express will terminate at Chennai Beach from February 3 to April 4. The scheduled arrival time at Chennai Beach is 7 am.
