New Justice Party leader AC Shanmugam has met actor Rajinikanth at his Poes Garden residence in Chennai on Monday. 

The meeting takes place ahead of the speculations about Rajinikanth's new political party launch very soon. There is no official confirmation from the actor or his Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) sources about the exact date of his new party launch.

Recently, the actor withdrew his case against the Rs.6.5 lakh property tax that was imposed by the Chennai Corporation on his Raghavendra Marriage hall.
