Rajathi Ammal flies to Germany for advanced treatment

She was accompanied by Kanimozhi MP and other family members. According to a Thanthi report, it is said that she will stay there for 2 weeks and return after receiving the treatment.

CHENNAI: Former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's wife Rajathi Ammal (77) left for Germany from Chennai International Airport on Friday to receive advanced treatment at a hospital there.

She was accompanied by Kanimozhi MP and other family members. According to a Thanthi report, it is said that she will stay there for 2 weeks and return after receiving the treatment.

Rajathi Ammal, the wife of late former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and mother of Tuticorin DMK Member of Parliament Kanimozhi, has been suffering from poor health, including indigestion, due to old age. She was suffering from a digestive tract problem and was being treated at a famous private hospital in Chennai.
