PS Society golden jubilee kickstarts

CHENNAI: PS Educational Society has kickstarted celebration of its golden jubilee, marking 50 years of dedication to education and cultural enrichment.

IIT-Madras Director Dr V Kamakoti and former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission Dr R Chidambaram, both alumni of PS Group of Schools, were the chief guest and guest of honour at the inaugural function, respectively.

The valedictory function is scheduled for September 7.

Speaking at the inauguration of golden jubilee of PS Educational Society, Dr R Chidambaram said, “A school is not just for learning various subjects but is also a place where a person learns life lessons.”

V Kamakoti said that every child in the school is looked after like they are the teacher’s own. “The fundamentals and all the basics of life were taught to us only through these schools,” he said.
