Children need a lot of friends some to hang out with, some to study with, and most importantly some to look up to, share concerns with and find help from.

A group of volunteers is coming together to create India’s largest volunteer-driven and led mentoring initiative for young children between the age of 13-16. In the project titled The Natpu Project, mentors will be engaging with children from an underserved community on the phone till they can meet them and be that friend, guide and mentor.

Now, the team is looking for volunteers from the city who can be mentors to children in Bala Mandir, who come from underprivileged backgrounds. Interested participants can sign up at https:// forms.gle/pHMJvozvYXnqtWS29
