Power shutdown on February 6 to facilitate work at Koyambedu market substation

Supply will be resumed before 2 pm, if the works are completed

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended at the following locations on Friday (February 6) from 9 am to 5 pm due to urgent work on 33 KV Koyambedu market substation to dismantle seven 25-year-old breakers and install new breakers, and restore them to operation after testing Koyambedu market substation. Power supply will be resumed after the works are completed. Supply will be resumed before 2 pm, if the works are completed

Koyambedu Market: Srinivasa Nagar, Bhaktavaschalam Road, Semathaman Nagar, Idar Road, Mettukulam, New Colony, Thiruveethi Amman Koil Street, Chinmaya Nagar, Nerkundram, Azhwar Thiru Nagar, Mookambika Nagar, Alagammal Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Bhubaneswar Nagar, VGP Amutha Nagar, CDN Nagar, Santha Avenue, Sivanthi Avenu, Reddy Street, Perumal Koil Street, Karunegar Street.

Also, power shutdown in the following areas on Friday.

Karambakkam: Kandaswamy Nagar, Ponni Nagar, Arunachalam Nagar, Mothi Nagar, Padmavahy Nagar, Kaveri Nagar, Bharathi Nagar, Dharmaraja Nagar, Viswanathan Street, Bhiramanar Street.

Madhavaram: Casa Grand Residential Tower.
