Kedia was among the 11 people who were arrested by the Delhi police. The app, which was available on Google Play Store, was directly involved in cheating a large number of people by offering to double their investment in a short span of time, the CB-CID alleged. Though the company was registered in Bengaluru, its server was found to be based in China. The cybercrime cell has so far received 122 complaints of fraud against the app, said officials, adding that cases were registered in many other states as well.
