Police arrest 3 Chennai students for wielding machetes in train

All the three hail from outskirts of Chennai.

CHENNAI: A day after three college students were dragging machetes in a moving train, they were arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday.

In a video, the trio could be seen dragging the machetes dangerously to cause them and other passengers harm.

They were identified as Anbarasu, Ravichandran and Arul. All the three are students of Presidency College.

A tweet informing their arrests were posted on the official handle of Divisional Railway Manager, Chennai. Public were also encouraged to inform such acts to either RPF or GRP.
