The accused, Moorthy of Villupuram, is a construction worker. The police said that the woman was taking a bath in her house in Nagalkeni on Sunday evening when she noticed someone watching her through the ventilator and informed her husband. The police said that the husband, who rushed outside the house, caught Moorthy with the help of neighbours and thrashed him. Later, they handed him over to the Shankar Nagar police. Moorthy had come to the area for construction work near the house and was staying on the site for a past few days.
