New cases go up in Chennai for 2nd day

The new COVID cases went up in Chennai for the second consecutive day, with the city reporting 164 cases on Wednesday, up from 139 on Tuesday and 122 on Monday.

The test positivity rate has also gone up to 0.6 per cent on Tuesday from 0.5 per cent a day earlier. But overall number declined to 1,756 on Wednesday.
