Minister Senthilbalaji to undergo angiogram at Omandurar hospital

A team of doctors including cardiologists examined him and he was subjected to a series of tests

CHENNAI: Arrested minister Senthil Balaji has been advised to undergo angiogram by the doctors at the Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital in Omandurar. He was brought to the hospital for check up on Wednesday and a series of tests were performed on him.

The minister was brought to the hospital upon complaints of back and neck pain and numbness of the leg. The medical tests did not show any major signs of health illness and his ECG and ECMO reports were normal.

Senthil Balaji, who has been arrested by Enforcement Directorate in cash for job scam was earlier taken to the Stanley Medical College and Hospital and later referred to Omandurar Government Hospital by the doctors for further treatment. This is the third time the minister has been taken to the hospital for checkup after his arrest. He was earlier taken for check up for chest discomfort and numbness of the leg.
