An official release issued by the CMRL said that Metro services would be in operation from 5.30 am to 11 pm from Monday to Saturday, with a peak hour headway of 7 minutes and non-peak hour headway of 10 minutes. On Sundays and public holidays, train services will be from 7 am to 10 pm without peak hour headway.
At present, the trains are operated between 7 am and 9 pm. CMRL requested all the passengers to cooperate with its security, ticketing and other staff in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing for a safe and smooth travel.
