The accused, Sai alias Raja Sivasundaram, is a BTech graduate and runs an Internet cafe in Washermenpet.

They received a complaint that a minor girl is being threatened by him with her photos and registered a case against him. He was secured and a laptop and three mobile phones in his possession were seized.

The police found that he had compromising photographs of at least 11 women. Investigation revealed that he befriended women who visited his internet cafe and made them send their photos through.

As none of the women came forward to lodge a complaint against him, the police booked under Pocso Act and 385 (extortion) of IPC and remanded him in judicial custody. The police said that the accused is married and recently became a father.
