Man caught with LSD stamps worth Rs 20K

The city police arrested a 25-year-old software professional for alleged possession of narcotic stamps and trying to sell the same on the new year eve.

The arrested was identified as J Srijan, a native of Thrisoor, Kerala and a resident of Pallikaranai. Police seized 20 LSD stamps worth over Rs 20,000 from him. The police said that he was planning to sell it during New Year party to other techies known to him. After initial inquiry police said that he had procured the blots from Pune, Maharashtra.


Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau, Chennai Zone, has improved its performance in the seizure of pseudoephedrine, methamphetamine, hashish oil, and hashish in 2019, said the latest data from the bureau.
