Lankan Navy rescues three stranded TN fishermen

Sri Lankan naval personnel today rescued three Tamil Nadu fishermen when their boat got stranded due to a technical problem near Neduntheevu in the island nation.

The fishermen from Kottaipattinam in Pudukottai district were taken to Sri Lanka along with their boat, where the problem was attended to.

Later, the authorities informed the Indian coast Guard personnel and handed them over at the international maritime boundary line along with their boat, Assistant Director of Fisheries Sekar said.
