CHENNAI: The Chennai-Ahmedabad flight was delayed after the pilot noticed a technical snag before take-off on Saturday.

Indigo Airlines flight to Ahmedabad was scheduled to depart with 173 passengers at 9.50 am.

When it began moving on the runway, the pilot noticed a technical snag and informed the ATC. Soon the flight was pulled back to the bay.

While passengers were seated inside the aircraft, the engineering team tried to rectify the fault but as it was taking more time, they were offloaded and made to stay in the waiting hall.

Later at 12.30, the fault was rectified and the flight departed from Chennai after a delay of nearly two-and-a-half hours.
