CHENNAI: As Ayudha Puja falls tomorrow, Koyembedu market in Chennai witnessed huge rush as people thronged to buy puja essentials. Traffic snarls were witnessed in and around Koyembedu and other parts of the city.
Ayudha Puja, one of the important festivals celebrated in India, is a part of Navaratri (Nine nights) that falls on the tenth day of the bright half of the Moon's cycle of 15 days in the month of September or October.
Known by different names across the country, the day marks worshipping of weapons.
