Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), Chennai, is organising a seminar Spectrum 2020 on the theme –Smart Logistics Enables SCM 4.0 on February 21.

WABCO INDIA managing director Kanniappan will be the chief guest and CTO, Mahindra & Mahindra Aravind Bharadwaj will deliver the keynote address.


Spectrum 2020 will have experts sharing global perspectives and emerging trends in supply chain management. The theme reflects trends that will shape logistics in the future withglobal perspective.


They will share the impact on logistics by robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, blockchain, autonomous vehicle and drones across various industries like agro, automotive, FMCG and pharma. About 200 professionals across industry verticals and service sector are expected to interact.


Participation by middle and senior level executives engaged in manufacturing, services industry, logistics, transportation, sourcing, project & process management, human resource management, IT professionals involved in supply chain management will help in career progression.


Additionally, small and medium entrepreneurs, who are part of larger supply chain will learn new ways to reduce cost. The seminar will help students and faculty update themselves with the current technology/developments inthe industry.
