CHENNAI: Condemning 'Hindi imposition', entrance examination and other policies of the Centre, DMK cadres under Chepauk MLA and youth wing leader Udhayanidhi Stalin staged protests at Valluvarkottam on Saturday. During the protests Udhayanidhi said no matter what form Hindi takes our slogan will be 'Hindi Theriyadhu Poda'. If needed we will take our protests to New Delhi, he added. We will repeat our 2019 election performance in 2024 and hand BJP a drubbing, he said. Taking a dig at the AIADMK he said, if using the term 'Union government' angers the BJP we will keep using it, this is not the EPS government but Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin's government.
