CHENNAI: In Chennai, today, the price of 22-carat gold rose by Rs 200 per sovereign and is sold at Rs 46,200.

Accordingly, the rise in price per gram of gold is Rs 25 and is sold at Rs. 5,775 per gram.

The price of one gram of silver rose by 90 paise and is being sold at Rs. 83.70.
