CHENNAI: In Chennai today, the price of 22-carat gold increased by Rs 80 per sovereign and sold at the rate of Rs 53,360.
Accordingly, per gram of gold, it is increased by Rs 10 and sold at Rs 6,670.
The price of silver remains unchanged at Rs. 88 per gram.
