In a press release, the civic body stated that timely payment will help them avoid the monthly penal interest. To facilitate easy payment, the GCC has listed multiple modes of payment.

Property owners can clear their dues through GCC tax collectors at the doorstep, government e-Seva centres, GCC's official website, and apps like Paytm, WhatsApp (number: 9445061913), and the Namma Chennai app, besides using credit/debit cards.

The Corporation has appealed to all property owners to pay their taxes promptly and cooperate in the development activities of the city.
