Radhakrishnan, who faces about 40 cases including murder, kidnap and extortion, has been absconding for over six months after being released on bail. Police said the trio was secured when they tried to flee during a vehicle check in Arumbakkam. The other two were identified as Vadivel (36) of Villivakkam and Ranjith (19) of Minjur. Radhakrishnan is an arch-rival of Binu Papachan of Choolaimedu, another gangster who is infamous for the birthday party he threw for anti-socials in the city a few years ago.
