CHENNAI: The flights to Thoothukudi and Pune from Chennai airport were cancelled on Saturday.
The Indigo Airlines flight to Thoothukudi, which was scheduled to depart from Chennai at 8 am, was cancelled and the Spice jet flight to Thoothukudi scheduled to depart at 2.30 pm was also cancelled.
Similarly, the Spice Jet flight which was supposed to arrive in Chennai from Pune at 4.25 am was cancelled and the Spice Jet flights which were supposed to arrive from Thoothukudi at 1.45 pm and 6.30 pm were also cancelled on Saturday.
The airlines mentioned that the flights were cancelled due to administrative reasons. The passengers were informed prior and necessary arrangements were made.
