DVAC summons ex-VC of Law University

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption has summoned

Dr P Vanagamudi, former Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University and five others, linked to the corruption case registered in the month of March this year. The case was registered in connection to the corruption in the admission of students and recruitment of faculty members, to appear for enquiry at the DVAC office on Monday.  

Apart from Dr Vanagamudi, the DVAC had also summoned Dr K S Sarwani, professor and Head Department of distant education of law university, V Balaji, in-charge Registrar, Dr S K Ashok Kumar, deputy registrar in-charge, D Jaishankar, deputy registrar (finance), K Rajesh son of administrative of Kannan, to appear for enquiry on Monday. 

It was earlier alleged that VC P Vanagamudi including five top officials of the University had flouted rules in admission of students under the NRI quota.
