DT Next Campus: SNUC opens applications for UG courses

The University offers a diverse portfolio of undergraduate programmes designed to prepare students for the emerging demands of academia and industry.

CHENNAI: Shiv Nadar University Chennai (SNUC), a higher education initiative of Shiv Nadar Foundation, has announced the opening of applications for its undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2026-27.

The University offers a diverse portfolio of undergraduate programmes designed to prepare students for the emerging demands of academia and industry.

To ensure accessibility, the Shiv Nadar University Chennai Entrance Examination (SNUCEE) will be conducted across 14 centres nationwide, with an additional exam centre in Dubai. The complete list of centres is -- SNUC Campus Chennai, Chennai non-Campus, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Trivandrum and Dubai.

The SNUCEE phases start on April 11, 2026, and the final phase is on May 9, 2026. The last dates for applying for each phase are given in the Information Brochure and are subject to SNUCEE slots being available for the Exam Centre at the time of applying.

Dr Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Vice Chancellor at Shiv Nadar University Chennai, said, “As higher education continues to evolve, our focus remains on building undergraduate programs that are interdisciplinary, future-ready, and deeply connected to real-world challenges. At Shiv Nadar University, we aim to nurture curious minds and equip students with the capabilities needed to succeed in an increasingly complex global ecosystem.”

Admissions to undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Commerce, and Economics are conducted through the Shiv Nadar University Chennai Entrance Examination (SNUCEE), followed by a personal interview for shortlisted candidates. Select seats are also available through JEE Main scores (candidates with JEE Mains score of 90 percentile and above are considered for shortlisting for the interview). Admission to the Tamil Nadu State Board toppers from rural districts will be provided based on merit and University policy.
