DT Campus: ERNET, VIT sign pact for joint research

CHENNAI: The Education and Research Network of India (ERNET), signed an MoU with Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai for collaborative research.

Sanjeev Bhanzal, Director General (Delhi) and Dr Paventhan A, Senior Director (R&D) Chennai from ERNET graced the occasion. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr T Thyagarajan, Deans and Office Bearers of the VIT Alumni Association attended the event.

The main objectives of the MoU included collaborative research in the areas namely Internet of Things ( IoT), Informative Security Education and Awareness (ISEA), Cyber Physical Systems (CPS), Next Generation Networking Technologies in the area of Quantum Communications, LiFi, Tactile Internet and other relevant domains. Also, it will explore ICT-enabled knowledge sharing through training and skill development in the above domains.
