Also, police observed a two-minute silence as a tribute to S Balamurali across the State at 5 pm on Thursday. Cops who were on the duty at the traffic junctions too observed silence for two minutes. Balamurali was the first police officer from TN police to die of COVID after having been hospitalised for two weeks.
