CTTE College for Women celebrates 35th college day

Managing Trustee and correspondent L Palamalai , IAS (Retd) delivered the presidential address. He placed on record his happiness for re-accreditation of the college by NAAC with Á Grade and appreciated the efforts of the principal and faculty members. He also encouraged students to develop reading habit.


The chief guest was Gandhigram Rural University, Dindigul, Department of Chemistry professor MG Sethuraman who delivered the college day address. He insisted on the need for smart work over hard work and implored students keep abreast of the latest developments in their field of study.


The principal Hanifa Ghosh presented the annual report for the academic year 2019-20. In the report, she highlighted the various activities of the clubs, associations and commendable achievements of staff and students who worked with pride and commitment. She thanked chief guest MG Sethuraman for being a mentor during the entire NAAC journey.


During the event, books and certificates were given as prizes to students who excelled in academics, sports and fine arts. The event ended with a vote of thanks by the Student Council PresidentKaren Josandra.
