The Chennai Corporation has announced that the bakeries in Chennai city will remain open from morning 6 am to noon 1 pm. This move has come into effect from today (Sunday). 

Chennai Corporation Commissioner G Prakash made this announcement recently through a tweet. 

The Chennai Corporation has insisted the bakeries that essential items like Bread, rusks and biscuits should be made available to people.
