Covid test rates slashed at Chennai airport after complaints from flyers

Covid test prices have been slashed at the Chennai airport with effect from December 8.

The Airport Authority has decided to reduce the Rapid PCR and RT-PCR test at the Chennai airport following passengers complaining about steep cost.

Price for the Rapid test has been reduced by Rs 500 to Rs 2,900 from Rs 3,400. While the RT-PCR price has been reduced to Rs 600 from Rs 700.

International flyers have expressed satisfaction to this decision.
