CMRL offers free metro travel for Brazil Legends and India All-Stars football match in Chennai on March 30

As per a communique from the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), those with valid match tickets will be able to take a round-trip journey between their chosen Metro stations and Central Metro station.

CHENNAI: For the football match between Brazil Legends and Indian Legends teams to be held on Sunday at Jawaharlal Nehru outdoor stadium, match-goers with valid match tickets can travel free in Chennai Metro Rail.

As per a communique from the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), those with valid match tickets will be able to take a round-trip journey between their chosen Metro stations and Central Metro station.

“Match-goers can scan the match ticket (physical) QR code at the automatic gates of the station. These tickets can be used for one round trip (two entries and two exits),” stated the press note. Meanwhile, the Metro train service on Saturday will operate as per Sunday time-table.

The CMRL has collaborated with Football Plus Professional Soccer Academy to sponsor travel for match-goers on Saturday.
