CHENNAI: Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday inaugurated the 11-storey FinTech Tower, built at a cost of Rs 249 crore, in Nandambakkam, Chennai.

The tower, constructed to LEED Platinum Green Building certification standards, spans 5.56 lakh square feet and is equipped with modern infrastructure, including meeting halls, a gymnasium and a childcare centre. The facility is designed to provide high-quality office space for finance and financial technology (FinTech) companies.


The State government said the FinTech Tower would emerge as a key hub for the sector's growth in the State and strengthen Chennai's position as a financial services centre.

The foundation stone for the project was laid by the Chief Minister on June 17, 2023.


During the event, Stalin handed over allotment orders to companies, including Prime Forex, Simpra Technologies, and MidFin Wealth Limited, to commence operations in the new tower.


Ministers TM Anbarasan and TRB Rajaa, Chief Secretary N Muruganandam and Industries Secretary V Arun Roy were present at the inauguration.
